Fifth Sun Productions was formed in the State of Michigan and is owned and operated by three partners. The Producers of Fifth Sun have a mission to produce quality, feature length independent film. We strive to push the boundries of filmmaking as both a vocation and an art.

"Shattered Faith," a 95 minute feature film, 2001. This mystery thriller was shot on location in and around Flint, Michigan, 1995-1999, and is currently available on VHS and DVD. Upon it’s premiere in September 2001, the film received praise from reviewers and was seen by more than 1000 people. The film was also screened at the 2001 Muskegon International Film Festival.

"Technical Difficulties," 1992 - 2004. A bi-weekly series on local public access television, featuring comedy skits, music videos, interviews with local personalities, and pointless commentary. Many fresh Michigan talents have debuted their short films or songs on "Tech Diff." The show continued it's edgy brand of satire after more than 10 years of popular demand.

"It's a Miserable Life," 1992. A comedic short about a man having a very, very bad day. This film won "Best of Show" at the Lansing Community College Annual Film Festival. Still being screened to new students at LCC as an example of fine workmanship.

"Interruptions," 1992. A darkly humorous short about a man trying to sit down with a good book. This film took Second Place at the Lansing Community College Annual Film Festival.

"His Name is Johnny," 1991. This 15 minute, action packed sequel to "When I Say Johnny" earned a reputation as the "most ambitious film project every attempted" within the curriculum at Lansing Community College.

"Stupid Dream," 1990. A 3 minutes short that included a gloomy dream sequence foreshadowing mankind's downfall, and his reluctance to acknowledge the warning signs. Featured a clip from the hit single "Change the World" by internationally known recording artist Ron Moore.

"When I Say Johnny," 1990. This debut short film from Fifth Sun surprises viewers with it's sci-fi twists and special effects. An extremely ambitious undertaking for a student film, this project garnered a great deal of attention and admiration.

"The Count," 1996. A made-for-video feature by Christopher Robin Hood, Robin Hood Films.
